Questions about purchasing

Where can I buy your app?

You can buy the app for your iOS device from the AppStore or get it for your Android device from the Google Play Store.

Are all the contents available to me after purchasing the app?

Yes! It's very important for us that we offer our customers a fair and transparent in-app purchase model. You can unlock every city and every vehicle yourself, without having to invest real money. We simply offer you the ability to buy the MAN TGX Efficient Line 2 or the Racing Truck a little faster with the purchase of truckcoins.

What are truckcoins?

truckcoins are the currency in TruckSimulation 16. You earn truckcoins by completing jobs, which you can then invest in new trucks and trailers in the Truck Shop. Additionally, you can also use truckcoins to buy garages, unlock new garage slots and hire employees. As we deliberately avoided having a premium currency in TruckSimulation 16, you can purchase and unlock all of the app's contents using truckcoins.

It's taking too long to earn truckcoins. Is there another way for me to get truckcoins so I can purchase vehicles faster?

You can visit the Bank in the Main Menu and buy truckcoins there. Even the smallest coin pack will put you in a position to buy yourself a truck or a trailer.

Starting the game

How do I control my truck?

In the bottom-right corner of the screen you will find the brake (left) and gas (right) pedals. By pressing the gas pedal, you will drive forward and if you hold the pedal, your truck will accelerate. By pressing the brake pedal, your truck will decelerate. If you hold the pedal, your truck will come to a standstill and then change into reverse gear.

You have three options for steering your truck. You can select and change them in the Options Menu:

What camera settings are there and how do I change them?

You can control your truck using three different camera settings. You can switch camera settings by pressing the camera icon in the top-left corner of the screen. When you do this, the number in the icon shows you which camera setting you have just activated. You can move the camera by swiping your finger across the screen. To zoom in or out, please pinch two fingers together (zoom in) or spread them apart (zoom out.)

My vehicle is lying on its side/has gotten stuck/has fallen in the water. How can I reset it?

If your truck gets hopelessly stuck or is the wrong way round following a turn, you can put it back in the correct position on the road with the help of the Tow Truck. However, this will cost you a small number of truckcoins each time.

The highways aren't 1:1 with the actual, real-world ones!

We've tried our best to realistically cover the road network of Central and Western Europe. Unfortunately, due to the sheer size of the world (approx. 1.2 million real km²) and the hardware limitations of mobile devices, it isn't completely, realistically possible.

Why am I getting speeding tickets and how can I avoid them?

You're getting speeding tickets because you've been driving too fast! (Now you weren't expecting that, were you?) In every European country that you can travel through in TruckSimulation 16, there are certain speed limits that you can see on the border signs at each border crossing. Also pay attention to the speed limit signs on the roadside. This will save you penalty costs for driving too fast.

How does the experience points counter work while driving?

The longer you drive, the more experience points you'll collect. In TruckSimulation 16 this is displayed in the form of a circle in the top-right corner of the screen that gradually fills up. Whenever the circle is completely filled, you'll receive experience points credited to your account. But beware! If you cause an accident or damage the goods you're transporting, you will lose the progress in your EXP circle and will have to begin collecting them again. As you get a multiplier on the experience points you receive for every consecutively filled circle, it's advisable to drive carefully and accident-free.

What can I do with the experience points I've earned?

You need experience points to increase your skill level. Each time you level up, you gain access to new jobs and management functions, such as building garages.

How do I find my way to my destination?

In TruckSimulation 16 you have a navigation device at our disposal, which you'll find in the top-right corner of the screen. Here you'll see your destination, the direction you need to travel in, the remaining length of the journey and your current speed.

How does the Cruise Control work?

Each vehicle has a Cruise Control which, when activated, enables your truck to drive at 4 different constant speeds: 30 km/h, 50 km/h, 80 km/h and 100 km/h. You'll find it in the bottom-right corner of the screen, above the gas pedal.

How do I get to the Main Menu?

There is a drop-shaped icon in the top-left corner of the screen. This will take you back to the Main Menu.

Now drive out of the truck yard and follow the navigation device to your destination. At the destination, drive to the uncoupling marker in the truck yard and tap on the uncoupling icon that appears again.

Why can't I accept the job with the Cooling Trailer?
